Order of RK № 249 of March 27, 2000 EIC SKSU. M. Auezov is the focal scientific methods and information center for the library system of education in South Kazakhstan region.
The main activities of the Department: To provide guidance to the main areas of library work, identification, research, promotion and implementation of best practices library, coordination
EIC activities and dependent libraries, organization of staff development.
Fond of the department of the library is constantly updated with the EIC methodical literature, which includes guidance on the work of libraries, orders, decrees, disposal ministries of education materials and recommendations other libraries; handbooks, terminological dictionaries and bibliographic publications and literature on the theory, methods and techniques of library work, practical manuals, textbooks and manuals on library science and
bibliographies, the state standards on information, librarianship and publishing.
System of qualification upgrading:
In the system of continuing library education occupies an important place advanced training librarians. One common form of advanced training are seminars, conferences, library courses are held in order to deepen and improve the practical and theoretical training of librarians, helps employee adapt to new conditions, to master of new methods of work.
System of advanced training of Library Staff EIC includes the following events:
• School of the young librarian and internships;
• professional competitions;
• participation in republican and regional seminars, conferences, etc.;
