Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev pays special attention to education, culture, and reading. Promoting these values and following the instruction to advance the "University That Reads Books" initiative, the national reading marathon "Reading Nation" has officially launched.
The goal of this initiative is to encourage every reader to read books, guiding them toward acquiring new knowledge, self-development, and spiritual enrichment.
As part of the project, a special direction called "University That Reads Books" is being implemented. Participants must read 15 books from a specially curated list.
Main phase of the marathon: September 2026 – March 2027.
We invite all readers to participate in the marathon and become part of the nationwide "Reading Nation" movement!
